...tiles&tiles&tiles...&

These are the first trys in the Ceramics department of the GSA. My project here is Typography in Ceramics. And the tiles were particularly usefull to learn, how to silkscreen-print on a flat ceramic surface. By clicking on the picture u can get a slideshow of the different placing suggestions.

Ok, i knowe, that that's not a new thing, but i'm just totally amased by the GoogleEarth/Maps, every time, again and again. This time i found my flat here.
Isn't it sceary a bit? If i'm able to see it with a free, public software, the CIA, FBI, AMI or any other crew with three letter in it's name, snugly can see that there are three piece of potato in the lowest self of the fridge, and one of them has a littlebit funny color. Inside.

Am i the only paranoid round here?

The Phoenix at Glasgow. Mustsee.

I like Phoenix for a long time. But to see them live yesterday was so back-handedly better! If you listen to their CDs they are a very nice com' il feau indie band, but on the concert they'v played rock. Not to mention, that after the 3rd comeback at the end, during the last but one song, Thomas Mars (vocal, and the husband of Sophia Coppola) climbed down from the stage, and walked into the audience, about 10m deep. By the way, he's really reminds me of one friend of mine in Hungary. That's you, Sziki...

Here goes a huge Sorry, to anyone, who tried to comment during the weekend. I thought i already could handle the system, but it seems i'll need some time till i can say that :S

The internet lies...

...or just doesn't tell you the truth. If you'r clicking around, and reading blogs, like mine, well, i'm sure you know this from the very start. But i don't mean the fake ads, and those so-called "free" things this time. You just can't recline upon the web, if U are to do something with in the real life.
So i decided to go to the cinema a coupple days ago, and a page on Glasgow screenings told me, that there's a film-noir called Beyound a reasanoble doubt in a cinema, just around the corner. I googled the title:
1956, Fritz Lang /you must see Metropolis(1927!), and M(1931) /
Went to the cinema, bought a ticket for 2pounds (student discount) and there came the surprise.
The film, withe the same title, was a documentary on the mass murdering in Sebrenica, during the last war in the Balkan. Realy hard stuff.

Maybe God, or the Force wanted me to see it, and now i'm to see the light, why they did.
The world is not just about the results 1-100 in a finder.
And it seems, i needed a lesson to recognise this good news. 'Cos that's a good news, isn't it?

So that was my first time on the weeler ( should there be an 'h' somewhere? ) and of course, the plaster teacher helped a lot, who's hungarian too, fortuitously...

John, the something-green-in-the-room

I first saw him in Morrison`s, he was just standing there, with the others, but i known , they didn`t understand him. So i couldn`t tear myself away. Now, on my window-sill he looks mutch better. So meet John, the parsley.

Sandwich

As far as i'm here (almoust 2week) the different kind of sandwiches become the main meal for me. I mean that wracked thing from the self of the nearest Tesco/Sommerfield/Morrison`s, excusively after 7pm, reduced price. Most of them are nice if you just have about 5 minutes to grab something, but of course the home-made is beyond compare. What`s your best sandich experience?
